Zoning & Subdivisions:

APPLICATIONS: Preliminary Subdivison and Land Development applications, fees and signed and sealed plans are due at the township building three weeks prior to the Planning Commission meeting by 3:00 P.M. By not providing these documents to the Township Building on time will delay your application.

PLANS: Sketch Plans need to be in one week prior to the Planning Commission meeting

NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Proof of notification to landowners needs to be provided one week prior to the Planning Commission meeting.

PEDDLING & SOLICITING IN NOCKAMIXON TOWNSHIP 

Requires A Permit  

Any person desiring to engage in peddling, canvassing, soliciting or taking orders for any goods, wares, merchandise from house to house  MUST apply for a permit from the Township Zoning office.  Such license shall be carried at all times and be exhibited upon request.   

The only exceptions are families selling their own produce or any manufacturer/producer in the sale of bread, baked goods, meat or milk products. 

No person licensed as a peddler shall engage in peddling at any time on Sunday or upon any day of the week before 9:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m.
