MINUTES

April 7, 2009

ROLL CALL:

OPEN MEETING:

Chair B. Sadow opened the April 7, 2009 Planning Commission with a salute to the flag at 7:35 PM.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by T. Keebler, seconded by C. Hall, to approve the minutes of the March 3, 2009 PC meeting with the following corrections: under Parks and Recreation change the words “have been reviewed” to “will be reviewed”; under add the word partial in parentheses; under Adjournment change to M. Kulp P. Hamilton abstained. The motion carried 5-0-1.

NEW BUSINESS:Review Proposed Oil & Gas Amendment

A motion was made by T. Keebler, seconded by P. Hamilton, to grant the Board of Supervisors approval to make an addition to the gas and oil extraction ordinance. The motion carried 6-0-0.

OLD BUSINESS: Review Proposed Wind Energy Systems Amendment - Tabled until next month.

Review Proposed Act 537 Update – S. Baluh handed out a map of current and known sewage systems in the Township and asked the Commission for help in identifying any additional system locations so they can be documented, and then reviewed the Act 537 Plan update with Commission members.

There will be no April 21 work session meeting.

ADJOURNMENT:

A motion was made by P. Hamilton, seconded by C. Hall, to adjourn the Planning Commission meeting at 9:30PM. The motion carried 6-0-0.
