ARTICLE VII
Conditional Uses

~ 234-48. General. [Amended 11-9-1994 by Ord. No. 79]

A. The Board of Supervisors may allow or deny conditional uses pursuant to public notice and hearing and after receiving recommendations from the Nockamixon Township Planning Commission pursuant to the standards set forth in this chapter. In allowing a conditional use, the Board of Supervisors may attach such reasonable conditions and safeguards, in addition to those expressed in this chapter, as it may deem necessary to implement the purposes of this chapter. Written notification of the date, time and place of a conditional use hearing, together with a concise statement of the nature of the approval requested shall be given to all property owners located within 500 feet of the property boundary of the applicant's property within not less than seven days of the date of the hearing.
