Nockamixon Township Board of Supervisors

Work Session Meeting – June 25, 2009

The work session for Nockamixon Township Board of Supervisors was opened at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, June 25, 2009 by Chairperson Nancy Janyszeski. In attendance were Vice Chairperson Bruce Keyser, Supervisors Henry Gawronski, Jim Litzenberger and Albert Santopietro. Also in attendance were Dave Taylor, Zoning Officer and Keith DeLuca, Township Treasurer.

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chairperson Janyszeski.

Motion to accept Resolution for Municipal Open Space Plan Update Adoption, Resolution # 06-25-2009 made by Supervisor Litzenberger and seconded by Supervisor Keyser. Motion carried 5-0-0.

Motion to accept letter for BNT on Nockamixon Township letterhead made by Chairperson Janyszeski and seconded by Supervisor Keyser. Motion carried 5-0-0.

Stipulations are that the letter must be signed and sent to or hand delivered to the Township office. Also Jake must have ID in the form of a letter and a badge.

Dave Taylor presents the fee schedule that was approved in January with 2 changes and a memo from the Township Engineer with their recommendations. One is increasing the “in lieu of road improvements” fee from $3,000.00 to $4,500.00. Second is the addition

of the word “use” to non-residential construction. It should read, in non-residential, “new construction or use” and “additions to existing construction or use”. Add $20.00 fee for solicitation permit.

Supervisor Litzenberger instructs the Treasurer to project the next 6 months income and expenses.

The present budget will not be amended. Work will begin on the 2010 budget in October.

There will be no work sessions for July and August and to be resumed in September.

A motion is made by Supervisor Santopietro and seconded by Supervisor Gawronski to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 P.M. Motion carried 5-0-0.
