  • Service Electric Cable installation and deadline

    • They are putting up new drops to the new system in the portion of the township that was built over the summer and last winter.  Most of this work is in the eastern part of the township.  Here are some of the streets that are involved.
      • Mareinstein Rd.
      • Beaver Run Rd.
      • Route 611 from Beaver Run Rd. south to Route 412
      • Lonely Cottage from Lodi Hill Rd. to Kintner Hill Rd.
      • Lake Warren Rd. from Lodi Hill Rd. to just past Kintner Hill Rd.
      • A small portion of Kintner Hill Rd. north of Lake Warren Rd.
    • As the drop crews are putting the new cable drops, they are also removing the old drops that run to the old system.  They are also carrying high definition cable boxes and 2-way modems on their trucks for those people in the township who would like an instant install of these products at their homes, as well as, beginning the telephone order process for those residents who would like to add telephone as well.

We have already seen some township residents who are home when the guys are doing the drop changes take advantage of the instant install option and are already enjoying the benefits of the upgraded system.

Construction crews continue to work in other parts of the township, as we plan to continue to spread the new system throughout the remainder in the township as we work to meet the end of March 2010 upgrade deadline.
