Nockamixon Township Residents

The Board of Supervisors of Nockamixon Township is pleased to announce that, beginning May 20, 2010, recycling bins are available at the Township Building 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These bins are there for your convenience and items to be recycled are displayed on the side. There are three enclosed bins from Abitibi Paper Retriever and two enclosed bins from Allied Waste.

The Abitibi bins are for paper only (no cardboard or phonebooks). Allied Waste accepts cardboard, phonebooks and co-mingled recycling including aluminum cans, empty glass, jars, bottles and plastics (1-7) to name a few.

With regard to Veteran’s Park, it was the consensus of the Board that no containers will be placed on site. Everyone is encouraged to drop recyclables that you may have following an event at the Park into the Township recycling bins.
