Route 32 (River Road) Construction Schedule

Route 32 (FL 6) between Green Hill Road and Route 263 in Solebury Township.
- Contractor is currently installating a 1,800-foot concrete retaining wall. The project also calls for installing new guide rail, installing six storm water inlets and drainage pipes, and installing a clay liner along the sides and bottom the Delaware Canal.
- Pre drill piles on May 19 through May 24.
- Drill piles on May 19 through May 24.
- Cut and install beams on May 19 through May 24.
- Place concrete panels on May 19, May 21, and May 23.
- Restore canal wall on may 19 through May 23.
- The contractor will continue to drill holes for the retaining wall posts and installing posts Mondays through Saturdays through May 28.
- The contractor will also be addressing storm water issue along the project area.
Preliminary construction began November 26
Route 32 will be closed and detoured to through traffic 24-hours a day beginning January 7.
No traffic will be allowed through work zone on weekends.
Project expected to be completed by July 3 due to the amount of rock that has to be drilled through.
Local access to businesses will be maintained.
Work is weather dependent.
Cuttalossa Road will be closed at the intersection of Route 32.
Route 32 (FL 3) between Narrows Hill Road and Route 611 in Durham and Nockamixon Township
- The project calls constructing a 5,000-foot long retaining wall along Route 32; reconstructing Route 32; and installing new guide rail.
- Erosion and sediment control on May 19 through May 24
- Excavation on May 19 through May 23.
- Drill piles on May 19 through May 23.
- Install Soldier Piles on May 19 through May 23.
Construction began April 14.
Detour to began April 21.
Southbound Route 32 motorists will detour over Route 611 and Marienstein Road.
Northbound Route 32 motorists will continue to detour over Narrows Hill Road and Route 611.
Trucks will detour over Route 611, Route 413, and Route 263/Route 202.
The project is expected to be completed by October 31.
Route 32 (FL 4) in Morrisville and New Hope boroughs, Lower Makefield, Solebury, and Bridgeton townships.
- Crews patched asphalt, paved, installed guide rail between Robinson Place and Woodside Road in Lower Makefield Township.
This work is complete
- Crews stabilized embankment of the Delaware Canal, reconstructed pavement, installed guide rail between Old Ferry Road and East Trenton Avenue/Calhoun Steet in Morrisville Borough.
This work is complete
- Crews stabilized the embankment of the Delaware Canal between Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) and Aquetong Road in New Hope Borough and Solebury Township
This work is complete
- Crews restored the embankment along the Delaware Canal, installed guide rail, and reconstructed pavement between the Trail’s End Canal Bridge and the Milford Bridge in Bridgeton Township
This work is complete
- Crews will reconstruct a stone retaining wall near the intersection of Fleecydale Road in Solebury Township
Construction begun February 18.
The project is expected to be completed by May 23.
Work is being completed under traffic with no detour.
