Call to order 7:10 pm by J. Petersen.

 

Administrative

 

  • Minutes for January 2010 were approved. Motion was made by S. Tenney, second by S. Donovan.
  • There was not a quorum for a February, 2010 meeting. However, the February EAC meeting time was shared with some BOS members to prepare the BOS for the County review of Hidden Valley that took place during the Feb 10, 2010 BOS meeting.

Business

 

  • Educational Seminar Program for Riparian Buffers plus training session with assistance of Mark Gallagher- Presentation to be during first half of work session on 4-22-10.

 

    • Organize Planning Training Session for BOS To be discussed during the 2 nd part of work session with BOS on 4-22-10.

    • Hidden Valley Waiting for county response to township. Next step is from BOS.

 

    • LEEDS Resolution from PC EAC supports PC in forwarding Leeds Resolution to BOS.

 

    • EAC Initiatives EAC Initiatives for 2010 discussed.

 

    • Expand township recycling program.
    • Promote LEEDS.
    • Review EAC ordinance, update if necessary.
    • Recommend available grants that are applicable to township.
    • Welcome Brochure –direction from BOS.
    • Plan review training session with BOS and Planning Commission members.
    • Review Development by Design concept and implementation.

 

 

  • Plan Review Updates

 

  • Morton subdivision: EAC review letter 6/17/08, P-Hydro review letter 6/7/08, Revised plan submitted11/17/09- 1/5/10 applicant to resubmit, action required by 3/31/10, Steve. No new action.

 

  • DiPalantino: site visit 2/09/08- EAC & P-Hydro review letters submitted 2/20/08, 5/31/08 & 3/10/09, PC approved9/02/08, action required by 3/31/10. Terry

 

  • Hoffman-: site visit held 3/22/08, EAC & P-Hydro review letter submitted 4/07/08, action required by 3/30/10. Terry

 

  • New Items –
    • EAC members discussed website information to see if it needs updating
    • Alana brought info concerning letter supporting moratorium on gas & oil extraction in forested areas of PA. Will prepare a letter of support for BOS to send.

 

  • Jeff will prepare EAC report for BOS.
