Call to order 7:10 pm by J. Petersen.
Administrative
- Minutes for December, 2009 were approved. Motion was made by T. Fritz , second by J. Petersen
- Jeff Petersen was unanimously elected as chair for 2010.
- Members who were approved by the Board of Supervisors for renewal were announced, leaving one open seat, formerly occupied by Alana Balogh.
- It was unanimously agreed that EAC should present a letter of appeal to the Board of Supervisors to reappoint Alana Balogh to the open seat.
Business
- Educational Seminar Program for Riparian Buffers plus training session with assistance of Mark Gallagher
- Twp. work sessions scheduled through March
- dates for seminar and training session will be scheduled for April at the earliest
- Wind Energy Systems Zoning Ordinance – approved in 12/09 by Board of Supervisors
- Morton subdivision: There is a possibility the plan will be abandoned or decision to resubmit plans will be made. On hold.
- Gouck 2 lot subdivision: revised plans submitted and approved by Board of Supervisors 10/21/09.
- Cobbler Road – L.P. Subdivision: revised to lot line change per sale to county. As of 12/09, recommended that Board of Supervisors question the county regarding the intended use of the property. Discussion regarding fact that county did not respond led to discussion of county’s lack of response to township’s questions regarding Hidden Valley Dump.
- New Items – Hidden Valley Dump
- A meeting was proposed between the township and a county representative to answer our questions due to failure to respond to written communication through solicitor Jordan Yeager.
- Another site visit to Hidden Valley by EAC members was scheduled for Jan. 18 th at 1pm.
