Call to order 7:15 PM; Chaired by S. Donovan; minute preparation agreed upon.

ADMINISTRATIVE

 

 

BUSINESS

 

 

 

 

 

 

Second the EAC should review the EAC Ordinance and update it as necessary.

Third the concepts of a flexible development ordinance should be studied and rethought to make sure they will have the beneficial results intended.

Fourth, T. Fritz suggested that the EAC continue to physically inspect the dumps and other environmentally distressed areas in the Township.

Fifth, continue the education of the public on environmentally beneficial improvements to their homes and properties which would save the public money.

Easton Rd (Route 611) TMP #30-11-83; 1.829 Acres, 1 Lot.

Site visit 2/9/08- EAC and PHydro report submitted 2/20/08. Revised plan submitted

5/13/08 . EAC revised report submitted 5/31/08. Action required by 1/3/09

 

Marienstein Rd TMP 30-11-164-5, 30-11-164-2, and 30-11-164-3; 20.179 Acres; 5 Lot Residential Subdivision

Site visit 3/22/08. EAC and PHydro report submitted 4/7/08, 9/11/08. Making progress but awaiting info. Action required by 1/30/09.

 

Quarry Rd. TMP 30-15-11-4; 14.298 Acres, 2 Lot (1new 3.442 acres)’ Residential Subdivision

Site visit 4/28/08 EAC review letter and PHydro report submitted 5/30/08. Reviewed by the Planning Commission which did not approve the plan.

 

Easton Rd. (Rt.611) and Tower Rd.; TMP 30-11- 30; 13,225 square foot retail store & moved/enlarged car wash

Site visit May 14 2008. NB: Plans part of Harrow Station Development. Preliminary approval (conditional) by BOS 8/19/08. Revised sewer planning module approved by Planning Commission 10/7/08.

 

Lonely Cottage Road TMP 30-11-5; 19.39 Acres; 3 Lot Residential Subdivision

Site visit dated May 14, 2008. EAC review letter issued 6/17/08. PHydro letter dated 6/7/08. Action required by 1/3/09. Waiting for reply to EAC and PHydro concerns.

 

RECYCLING. Alana Balogh reported on her attempts to discover the cost and what is covered by the Townships current contract with Allied Waste. She learned that the Township now receives two containers at $183 apiece which cost $452 a month. It is unclear what sorts of trash are included here. The council wished to have this mentioned in the EAC report to find out the details.
