Nockamixon Township Board of Supervisors Work Session Meeting – October 28, 2010 The Nockamixon Township Board of Supervisors work session meeting, which was advertised in January 2010, was opened at 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, October 28, 2010 by Chairperson Nancy Janyszeski. In attendance were Vice Chairman Bruce Keyser, Supervisors Carl Bahnck and Albert Santopietro. Also attending is Keith DeLuca, Township Treasurer. Supervisor Sadow is not in attendance. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Chairperson Janyszeski. There is discussion between the Board and the Treasurer relating to expenses that can be billed to the funds received from a grant for DCRB and DEP hearings. The Treasurer will seek clarification from the Township Solicitor. The Township Secretary seeks direction from the Board as to how they wish to respond to a right to know request from Mr. Sean Lynch. The Boards response is since this is a request regarding BNT files, Mr. Lynch must submit a right to know request to the Townships of Bridgeton and Tinicum as our ground water committee is a cooperative committee among three townships. There is conversation on the following subjects, Hidden Valley and A&A Tile, both matters are being reviewed by the Township Zoning Officer and he will inform the Board on his findings. The meeting concludes with discussion on the 2011 Budget. The Treasurer informs the Board of two changes made since the last meeting and announces that the budget is now balanced. He proposes that the Board reduce Township Taxes by 0.5 mils. There is a motion by Supervisor Santopietro to advertise the Budget as presented and is seconded by Supervisor Keyser. The motion carries 4-0-0. A motion was made to adjourn the work session meeting at 9:00 PM by Supervisor Santopietro and seconded by Supervisor Keyser. The motion carries 4-0-0.
